Senior Vice President, Operations

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Operations is responsible for effectively managing operations in their company. This position oversees the coordinating efforts to fulfill all operation requirements, and communicates with the operations team, and delegates tasks. This position plans and organizes operational activities, while following all company procedures.


  • Coordinating with offices all over the country to facilitate customer support efforts, logistics, and oversee contract fulfillment.
  • Performing operational reviews to suggest improvements for future operations, develop short- and long-term goals based on operational policy.
  • Overseeing national teams to meet operational goals and objectives.
  • Shaping and enforcing organization policies, standards and budgets.
  • Appointing, directing and coordinating department heads.
  • Analyzing operations and staffing to meet ongoing and emergent needs in concert with the Board or Executive team.
  • Following all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary.
  • Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (I2P2).
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by direct supervisor/management.


  • A bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field is required. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
  • Experience in an Operations capacity is required
  • Experience in Real Estate Development or Management is required
  • Leadership experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from conceptualization through implementation across multiple internal and external reporting and organizational lines
  • Keen understanding of the Real Estate/REIT industry, including the ability to assess the strengths and weaknesses of competitor organizations, recognize and seek out relevant opportunities, and implement processes for improved efficiency, service, profitability, and growth
